This guideline formulation for transparent shampoo with vegetable-derived conditioners is based on the concept “Transparent aqueous cleansing products with caring oils”. MARLINAT 242/90 MC (INCI:MIPA Laureth Sulfate (and) Propylene Glycol) is a good foaming and very mild water-free flow-able surfactant. In combination with MARLOWET CG (INCI: PEG-18 Castor Oil Dioleate) as co-emulsifier, it is possible to develop transparent oil containing formulations for shampoos, with high foaming power, high cleansing action and skin hydration. PARAFOL 12-97 (INCI: Dodecane) supports like cyclomethicones the distribution of the active substances into the hair. PARAFOL 22-95 (INCI: Docosane) imparts conditioning to dry hair like high molecular-weight dimethicones. Both PARAFOL-types are high purely linear single cut paraffins made from renewable resources.
