LAS 96%

Documents

LAS 96% is an anionic surfactant obtained by sulphonation of the LAB - Linear Alkylbenzene with lateral paraffinic chain of 10 - 13 carbon atoms (petrochemical intermediate) and SO3 as a sulfonating agent. It shows excellent detergency performance, dispersing and wetting power, solubility and hydrolysis resistance, may be used in both acid and alkaline formulations. Due to their environmental compatibility, the surfactant is most used worldwide in the production of detergents, household and institutional cleaners, treatment, processing and finishing of metals in the food processing industry and as an agricultural emulsifier.
