COSMOL™ 222

COSMOL™ 222 is a colorless to pale yellow liquid and a high polar di-ester. It can be used a s a substitute to castor oil. It is superior to castor oil in oxidative stability and physical properties such as compatibilty, water resistance and pigment dispersing ability. It is compatible with hydrocarbon oils and silicone oils. It can control hardness of waxes and sweating in solid cosmetics and has a high interfacial tension with water. It is recommended for use in lipsticks, lip glosses, color lip gloss, lip balm, powder foundation, oil-based foundation, translucent lipstick, hot pours, gels, and skin care and color emulsions.
