AEROSIL® R 805 is a fumed silica aftertreated with an octylsilane based on AEROSIL® 200. AEROSIL® R 805 has effective rheology control in complex liquid sytems. It also can be applied in coatings systems as an anti-settling agent, for the stabilization of pigments, and to enhance the effect of corrosion protection, which makes it interesting for nail polish. In the personal care industry the AEROSIL® R 805 can be used as a rheology controller and stabilization aid in every kind of deodorants like sprays, roll-on and sticks. Its INCI-name is 'Silica caprylyl silylate'
