It can be utilized as a delivery system in antiperspirant and deodorant formulations as well as hair-care products and color-cosmetic compositions. It provides sufficient play time in color-cosmetics applications, thereby improving rub-in properties, reducing stickiness, and imparting lubricity and a smooth skin feel. Solutions of Natrosol HEC are pseudoplastic or shear-thinning.
