Azelaic acid, a saturated dicarboxylic acid chemically identified as 1,7-heptanedicarboxylic acid, has been shown to be the real workhorse. Azelaic acid exhibits bactericidal properties and this has resulted in the application of azelaic acid for the treatment of acne vulgaris. Its anti-inflammatory properties have also resulted in the application of azelaic acid for the treatment of rosacea. It also shows interesting synergies with other physiologically active ingredients, such as for hair regrowth products, and may act as a standaalone ingredient as well. It’s not an AHA or BHA but a distant relative to them (all being carboxylic acids). It can be found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley. view less

Bioyouth™-BLC is compounded by a variety of active substances, which reduces the increase in ROS caused by blue light irradiation, improves the activity of SOD enzymes, so as to provide three-dimensional protection and improve the ability of oxidative stress. Inhibit the excessive production of MMP-1, promote the secretion of collagen I, strengthen the skin barrier and enhance skin gloss, thereby effectively anti-aging, firming and brightening the skin. view less

Glycolic Acid is said to be one of the most powerful and effective of alpha hydroxy acids given its ability to retexturize, brighten, and refresh lackluster skin. Glycolic Acid helps break down pore-clogging, dead skin cells that sit on the surface of the skin while diminishing the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration—revealing a brighter and more youthful-looking complexion. view less

RebTech™ Ectoine is considered an osmolyte for skin, Ectoine helps maintain balanced hydration by maintaining the correct water balance in skin. In doing so, skin can better maintain a smooth, soft surface. Newer research indicates Ectoine can also help protect skin from environmental stressors related to different types of natural light and pollutants. This believed to happen in part because of its antioxidant ability as well as what seems to be a natural ability to protect skin from dehydration due to environmental exposure. view less
