Today, it is regarded as a good natural moisturizing ingredient and is widely used in personal care products. It exhibits instability when applied with optical brighteners, acidic formulations (HF / HCl) or too alkaline (pH tolerance of 8.5). In Alkyl Ether Sulfates combination with providing viscosity improvements, foam and cloud point. The use of Viscopon in liquid detergent formulations do not require the use of electrolytes, showing better response when combined with magnesium sulfate.
