ROL HSHO is produced using sunflower oil HSHO, well known for having in its composition of high percentages of stearic and oleic fatty acids, which imparts ease of spreadability, good emollience and gives a velvety touch. Adding a short chain hydrophilic greatly increases emulsification, reducing the amount of emulsifier required to achieve adequate stability. Moreover this procedure improves chemical stability to oxidation; which it is already optimized for the type of starting oil.
