Dermothix™ 100 is a water soluble dimeric urethane where the alcohol is a 100 mole ethoxylated stearyl alcohol. It is a non-ionic thickener and rheology modifier used as a replacement for alkanolamides in liquid detergents, shampoos and shower gels. Since Dermothix™ 100 is non-ionic, it is compatible with all types of surfactants. It offers slip in both skin and hair products. Dermothix™ 100 can also be used as a clarifier in sodium stearate soaps and in antiperspirant sticks where it imparts body and firmness and prevents whitening. view less
