KBM-403 is an epoxy functional methoxysilane that is used in many different types of applications including primers, adhesion promoters, scratch resistant coatings, encapsulants, and gaskets. This coupling agent improves the mechanical strength, water resistance, and heat resistance of complex materials containing inorganic fillers and organic polymers. It is suitable for a wide variety of heat curable systems like epoxies, phenolics, melamines, and urethanes, as well as thermoplastic elastomers like polycarbonate, nylon, polystyrene, PET, PBT, and ABS. Epoxysilanes have replaced aminosilanes in several applications, resulting in significantly improved performance. KBM-403 works well with most of the common inorganic substrates such as glass, silica, mica, alumina, clay, and talc, as well as most metals, such as iron and copper.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
