Hauthane L-3466

Hauthane L-3466 is an aliphatic, silicone-modified, polyester-based, water-borne polyurethane dispersion. It was designed primarily for topcoat applications where slip and abrasion resistance properties are required. L-3466 contains a non-fugitive silicone component that provides low surface tension characteristics on flexible and rigid substrates including leather, plastics, metals and textiles. It also demonstrates exceptional dye transfer resistance in automotive leather seating and dry-erase, white board applications when crosslinked. L-3466 may be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.
