REAXIS® C248

REAXIS® C248 is a solid, amorphous organotin catalyst that is used mainly in esterification and polycondensation reactions. Made of Dibutyltin Oxide, REAXIS® C248 is well suited for the transesterification of vinyl acetate or acrylic acid copolymers, the synthesis of alkyd and polyester resins, as well as the production of polycarbonates, electrodeposition coatings. REAXIS® C248 is typically used at concentrations ranging from 0.01 - 0.5 wt% at 90 - 260°C.
