Industrial Castor Oil is the fixed oil attained from the seed of Ricinus Communis Linn with a characteristically clear and free of suspended matter appearance, and a slightly characteristic aroma. Chemical engineers have come up with numerous uses for castor oil and its derivatives, including coatings, lubricating grease, emulsifiers, polyamide 11 (Nylon 11) engineering plastic, sealants, inks, and more. Industrial Castor Oil has a saponification value of 176 to 184 and a viscosity of 6.3 to 8.9, with an acid value of 2.0 maximum.
