Diethylene Glycol Dibutyl Ether is a clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic odor. The solvent features a low freezing point, high boiling point, and low viscosity. It is miscible in any ratio with solvents such as ethanol, acetone, benzene, ether, and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It has little to no solubility in water and high molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons. DEGDBE is an excellent solvent for a wide range of polar and non-polar substances.
Diethylene glycol dibutyl ether is an inert, aprotic solvent. It has wide applicability in various types of cleaning formulations. Examples include grease, wax, and stain removers and special low-flammability non-aqueous cleaning systems for electronic equipment. DEGDBE is used as a solvent for several coatings applications. It is a good coalescing agent with coupling ability. It is also used as solvent for inkjet inks, in formulations of deletion fluids for positive printing plates, retouching agents for lithographic printing and in cleaning agents for removing inks from printing machines.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
