DOUBLEMER® 4315 is an alicyclic epoxy resin with a cyclohexane structure and terminal epoxy groups and features. This product appears as transparent flakes and is characterized by no sodium or chlorine ions and an extremely small amount of ionic substances. It has terminal epoxy groups that exhibit reactivity equivalent to that of glycidyl ether epoxy resins. It also allows curing by various curing agents such as acid anhydrides, phenols, amines, and cations.
These features make DOUBLEMER® 4315 adaptable to electronic materials, optics, powder coatings, and applications to conventional epoxy resins. This product is recommended for the following applications: insulating sealants for optoelectronics, curing agents for powder coatings, coupling agents for glass fiber and hydrolysis suppressors for polyester.
