Dynapol L205 and Dynapol L208 are high molecular weight polyester resins widely used in coil coating primer applications for both building and domestic appliance applications. Cymel 350 is a typical melamine based crosslinker. The cure reponse within this formulation was controlled by the use of Silane A187 (Silane Ester), Epoxy blocked Phosphoric acid (co-catalyst), EDBSA (sulphonic acid co-catalyst) and Halox 650 (Dicarboxylic acid). These components prevent the interaction of SHIELDEX® anti-corrosive pigments with the acid catalysts and any acidic functionality on the resins, thus ensuring maximum cure response. view less |
