When used as an additive in formulations cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB), DOUBLEMER® 013 will exhibit substrate wetting and flow properties, low viscosity and good stability in formulation. Because of its acrylic functional group, after curing, this product will get into the backbone of substrates by photo free radical polymerization. Because of its chemical structure, it tend to be dissolved in water. It could replace NVP in most formulations, as well as water soluble UV application. Formulated UV/EB curable products containing DOUBLEMER® 013 may be applied as a reactivity solvent or adhesive water borne UV formulation. This product is a clear to yellowish liquid. view less
