This coupling agent improves the mechanical strength, water resistance, and heat resistance of complex materials containing inorganic fillers and organic polymers. It is suitable for a wide variety of heat curable systems like epoxies, phenolics, melamines, and urethanes, as well as thermoplastic elastomers like polycarbonate, nylon, polystyrene, PET, PBT, and ABS. Epoxysilanes have replaced aminosilanes in several applications, resulting in significantly improved performance. KBM-303 works well with most of the common inorganic substrates such as glass, silica, mica, alumina, clay, and talc, as well as most metals, such as iron and copper. view less
