Since no DMPA is required to formulate water dispersible pre-polymers, NMP may be reduced or eliminated from the formulations. Pre-polymers formulated with DICAP® products have very good solubility in monomers for hybrid applications and in acetone for solvent-free PUDs. Depending on the molecular weight of the DICAP® polyol and the formulating technique, hard films can be formulated for durable coatings or soft urethane polymers can be formulated for coating textiles and leathers.
