HYLON® VII is an unmodified high amylose corn starch which contains approximately 70% amylose. It is used in a variety of food applications where its excellent gelling, film forming and opacifying properties can be realized. This product can be used in the confectionery industry as a gelling agent in the manufacture of high quality jelly gum candies. It can also be used in batter coatings or extruded and fried snack products.
