Sodium Gluconate

Sodium Gluconate is crystalline sodium salt of gluconic acid produced by the fermentation of glucose. It occurs as non-toxic white crystals (in granular or powder form) that have excellent solubility. It is non-corrosive, biodegradable, and biorenewable. Sodium Gluconate is used as a chelating agent in the food industry for beverages, cheese and tofu, and salt substitutes. It also has uses in other industries.
