Beta-Carotene 30% is a reddish-brown suspension containing micronized crystals of β-Carotene dispersed in corn oil. Dl-α-Tocopherol is added as antioxidant. It is liquid at 0˚C. This product is used as a coloring agent or as a nutrient for oils, fats and oil based foods (margarine, cheese, ice cream, mayonnaise, salad dressings, sauces, bakery products, soups). It is also applied in pharmaceutical preparations such as liquid oral dosage forms and soft gelatin capsules.
