Aratex™

Aratex™ is a bland, white, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil in flake form, developed especially for use as a stabilizer in icings. It is produced from high-quality domestic vegetable oils and is available with or without soybean lecithin. This product adds structure and stand-up properties to icings, particularly in warm climates and is resistant to "bleed" or "collapse". It minimizes the sticking of icings to wrappers, and it works well in flat and fudge-type icings, it can be used to replace part of the shortening in icing formulas.

Company

Loders Croklaan’s line of trans-free emulsified shortenings is prepared without hydrogenation and possesses properties of texture, shelf life and aeration comparable to emulsified shortenings based on partially hydrogenated vegetable oils.
