The β-apo-8´-carotenal is encapsulated in a matrix of modified starch, sucrose and vegetable oil. Dl-alpha-tocopherol and ascorbyl palmitate are used as antioxidant. The β-apo-8´-carotenal meets the latest editions of usp, fcc, ph.Eur. And ec directive 2008/128/ec.
Use: as a colorant and a source of vitamin a for food, dietary supplement and pharmaceutical products.
