Organic Nonfat Dry Milk

Organic Nonfat Dry milk is the powder resulting from the removal of the fat and water from fresh milk. It contains the lactose, milk proteins and milk minerals in the same relative proportions as they occur in organic fresh milk, consisting of 33.0% protein (+/- 2), 51% lactose, and a maximum of 1.25% fat, 4.0% moisture, 8.2% ash, and 0.15% titratable acidity. The product is made from organic, fresh, sweet milk to which no preservative, alkali, neutralizing agent or other chemical has been added and which has been pasteurized. This product has a light cream to white color, with a clean, cooked flavor, and a fresh smell with no off odor. Organic Nonfat Dry Milk should be stored in a dry, cool, clean warehouse free of odors with a temperature below 80°F and relative humidity below 65%. Although when stored for one year it is usually found to be satisfactory, it should not be stored for more than six months if a fresh tasting product is desired.
