Methyl Isobutyl Ketone

Methyl Isobutyl Ketone is a colorless, clear liquid ketone that is very flammable with a high vapor pressure. It is used mainly as a solvent for paints, pharmaceuticals, industrial cleaners, and rubber. This product is also used as a chemical intermediate, in semiconductors. It is useful at dissolving resins used in inks, paints, lacquers, and other surface coatings, and is also in adhesives, paper, paperboard, and polymers as a food additive.
