Guaiazulene

Guaiazulene (also known as Azulene), is a dark blue crystalline constituent of chamomile oil. It also occurs naturally as a constituent of the oil of guaiac wood. It is an FDA-approved cosmetic color additive for use in cosmetics (except around the eye area). Guaiazulene is known as well for its soothing properties. Guaiazulene is also found naturally occurring in Chamomile.
