SPI-10 is a clear liquid linear polydimethylsiloxane. This product is non-toxic and chemically inert. It has low surface tension, good cutaneous tolerance, and resistance to heat and aging by atmospheric agents such as oxygen, ozone, water, and light. It is used in Pharmacy applications such as pharmaceutical creams, antibiotic dispersants, and lubrication of medical devices. It is also used in Cosmetic applications such as skin milks and ionments, hair lacquers, lotions, skin protection creams, lipstick additives, antiperspirants, bubble baths, and treated talcum powder.
