SPI-PQ7

Polyquatnium-7 is the aqueous solution of the highly charged cationic copolymer of diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride and Acrylamide with 0.1% methylparaben & 0.02 propylparaben as preservatives added. High solubility in water and compatibility with all types of surfactants makes SPI-PQ7 an excellent ingredient that can be incorporated into hair care and skin care formulations. SPI-PQ7 is an excellent conditioning agent for shampoos providing lubricity and wet combing without causing excessive build-up. It can contribute luster and a soft, silky feel in both leave-on and rinse-off hair care products. In a typical shampoo application, SPI-PQ7 may be helpful to provide rich, creamy foam with excellent slip, lubricity, and snag-free wet combing. The dry comb ability, such as static & flyaway reducing. SPI-PQ7 is also an excellent emollient for skin cleansers. When combined with a liquid hand soap formula, it provides a smooth silky feel to the hands.
