SPI-3510 is a nonionic surfactant of the silicone glycol copolymer type; it is liquid at room temperature. SPI-3510 acts as a surface tension depressant, wetting agent, emulsifier and foam builder in a wide variety of cosmetic and personal care products. It is used in hair sprays to plasticize resins and impart a soft, silky feel to the hair. SPI-3510 is also used to increase foam volume and improve wetting and lubricity of skin care products. SPI-3510 imparts the following benefits: lubrication, detackification, surface tension reduction, humectantcy, softening, foam building, non-oily, hydrolytic stability at neutral pH and inverse solubility.
