Ma Extract is extracted from Dioscorea japonica, a species of yam that is used for food. The root has a very pleasant mild flavour with a floury texture and is commonly eaten as a potato substitute. Medicinally, the roots are prescribed in the treatment of diarrhoea, enteritis and enuresis. They are also dried and cut into shavings and used as a tonic. Active compounds in D. japonica are reported to exert various biological effects, including anti-rheumatic activities and anti-oxidant actions.
According to the in vitro experiment results, Ma Extract, containing the root extract of D. japonica, is a multi-functional ingredient displaying anti-wrinkle, anti-oxidant, and anti-allergic actions. In addition, clinical tests have revealed Ma Extract to be an effective moisturizer.

You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
