INCI Name:

Polymethyl Methacrylate

BPA-500 is a fine white powder with characteristic odor. This product is composed of Polymethyl Methacrylate and used as a Polymer Microsphere. Microspheres offer a ball-bearing effect which will impart finished products with an elegant silky texture, increased payoff, and enhanced slip which promotes better blendability on the skin. They are also able to scatter light to diminish the look of fine lines on the skin, while letting enough light through so the look of the skin is natural.

Since 1987 Kobo has been providing innovative, technology-based raw materials to the cosmetic industry.

The product range includes Surface Treatments, Microspheres, Suncare and Color Dispersions, Silicone Fluids, Specialties, Natural Ingredients, Effect Pigments (KTZ® Pearls, Kobopearl®, Moonshine® Glass Flakes) and Delivery Systems.
