Hydropuntil COSMOS APPR. is produced with prickly pear leaves harvested in Sicily. The internal part of the juicy leaves was traditionally used on skin as an emollient and anti-inflammatory remedy as well as in wound healing. Scientific studies have shown these effects are due to the specific polysaccharides in prickly pear leaves that recently have been found to have similar effects as hyaluronic acid. HYDROPUNTIL is able to deliver an efficient protective effect thus increasing the antioxidant capacity of cell membranes and reducing the release of proinflammatory interleukins. The application of the product has been proven to efficiently moisturize the skin in just one week and to also deliver a strong protecting effect reducing the onset of redness. Use level: 3%. Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
