Sage Extract (Ursolic Acids 75%) is a standardized powder extracted from Sage Leaves (Salvia officinalis). Ursolic Acid is a pentacyclic triterpenoid compound that has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It enhances hair growth by stimulating the peripheral blood flow in the scalp and helps prevent alopecia and dandruff. Ursolic acid has been used to treat photo-aged skin because it prevents and improves the appearance of wrinkles and age spots by restoring the skin’s collagen bundle structures and its elasticity. This product can be used in skin and hair care formulations and is GMO free and Kosher and Halal certified.
