Kunipia-F is a refined bentonite that is removed impurities and purified the main component, montmorillonite. Kunipia F can be used for various cosmetics as a so-called "Clay". Montmorillonite, the main component of Kunipia F, is very thin plate-shaped crystal with a thickness of 1 nm and a width of 100-1,000 nm. When dispersed in water, it forms a card house structure, giving it thixotropic properties. This property allows for thickening of formulations, stabilization of emulsions, and suspension effects. Additionally, when applied to the skin, it forms a film on the skin surface, giving it a smooth feel and hiding pores and wrinkles. Furthermore, it has the ability to absorb sebum on the skin surface and dirt from pores, so it is also recommended for cleansing products.
