A liposome is a small capsule composed of one or more phospholipid bilayers and much like biological membranes, has high affinity for skin, and is easily and safely metabolized inside the skin. In addition, it can maintain various compounds inside of the capsule and/or between the bilayers, so this delivery vehicle is helpful for cosmetic ingredients.
The "PANASOME" series offered by Kyowa Pharma Chemical Co., Ltd. is comprised of multi-lamellar liposomes of 50-200 nm diameter. This series has PANASOME CoQ10 to heighten moisture retaining effect for skin, PANASOME LUTEIN to protect skin from UV-A/B and blue light, and so on.

Organic extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the first pressing of the olive and is left in its natural unrefined state. The appearance is a greenish yellow color with a characteristic aroma. Organic extra virgin olive oil is commonly known to be the highest quality olive oil available. Cosmetically, extra virgin olive oil is used in everything from lotions and soaps to hair products and is at times applied straight to the skin. The oil naturally conditions and moisturizes the skin and is known to add shine to hair. Extra virgin olive oil is also believed to contribute to skin elasticity. On the culinary side, extra virgin olive oil is one of the most widely used oils. It is best and typically used in preparation of foods which are going to be eaten cold. The oil can also be used for sautéing, however when using olive oil for high heat cooking other grades are more appropriate.
