Due to their high effectiveness, it is used at low concentrations between 0.1-1%. It can be added at any point of the formulation and, unlike classical opacifiers, it can be added directly to the formulation, without preparing a prior dilution. It is added to transparent or translucent cosmetic products to make them more impenetrable by light and radiation. It helps the final product to look better, so sometimes a dye is also added.
