It has alkyl moiety as a hydrophobic group to impart excellent compatibilities with cosmetic organic oils and esters and stable stabilities. As a PEG-modified silicone, it provides a silky and light feel and can be used as an emulsifier in a wide range from color cosmetics to skin care products. Especially, low viscosity emulsion can be achieved when applied to products with a cold process.
