Carbomer Alternative - Guarsafe® JK-303 s a natural guar-based thickener and film former for hand sanitizer. It is ideal for thickening solutions containing high ethanol content. JK-303 is stable over a wide pH range and the compatibility level with ethanol is 75%, and 65%with IPA. Unlike benchmark thickeners which have to be put into water before the alcohol is added, JK-303 can be added directly into alcohol-water blend. In addition, it hydrates very quickly which means the processing time is reduced thus saving time and money for formulators. Furthermore, JK-303 is completely compatible with alcohol the resulting mix is very stable, allowing formulators to easily insert extra moisturizing ingredients. view less
