Acrylic resin GA-300 can also be used in specialty applications, such as polysiloxane based heat-resistant powder coatings. It provides stronger film integrity than TGIC as a curing agent for carboxyl polyester resins. Although the amount of Acrylic resin GA-300 in formulation depends on the equivalent weight of the polyester resin, its optimum level needs to be determined by actual laboratory evaluation.
