EXOCOAT® AM by Axcentive is a water-based, doped nano-titanium oxide sol with a strong antimicrobial effect and anatase structure. It prevents the build-up of microbes as the photocatalytic effect results in effective radical formation which breaks down viruses and bacteria. It eradicates viruses such as influenza, SARS-COV-2, dengue & hepatitis and bacteria such as E. coli, MSRA, streptococcus, listeria, pneumonia, and salmonella. It is activated by light and displays quick drying at room temperature. Spray application is recommended to reach thin monolayers. It exhibits curing at room temperature up to 300°C and super hard particles (1GPa Vickers). It is easy to apply & durable, allowing longer disinfection intervals while preserving hygiene level. It shows non-silver leaching, efficacious even under low light conditions, lower service frequency, and no need for frequent disinfection routine. It is used in the state-of-the-art continuous antimicrobial coating for high-traffic areas. EXOCOAT® AM is suitable for topcoats for any surface inside buildings, stores, hospitals, and vehicles.
