It is an excellent low shrinkage reactive diluent for UV systems based on urethane acrylates and vinyl esters (epoxy acrylates). This product has an acid numer of < 0.3mg KOH/g, a saponification value of 126-138mg KOH/g, a volatile components pf 0.5% max., and a molecular weight of 420g/mol. Bisomer® PPA6 has a low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) and offers excellent plasticising properties when incorporated into polymers, including emulsion polymers. This product is ideal in the preparation of UV oligomers, emulsion polymers, printing inks and polyurethane dispersions (PUDs). It is also used in more traditional acrylic polyols for surface coatings. voir moins |
