This product has a diester (EGDMA) of 97.0%, an inhibitor (MEHQ) content of 200-240ppm, and an acid number of < 1.0mg KOH/g. It is also used as a co-monomer in styrene based unsaturated polyesters, PMMA based acrylic resins and vinyl ester formulations in anchor bolts and chemical fixings. It may also be used in the production of emulsion polymers in combination with other commodity methacrylates and acrylates, notably for textile coatings and textile sizes. Bisomer® HEMA is also the major raw material for the production of long-term wear and disposable contact lenses and in turn is an ideal starting point in formulating biomedical hydrogels. voir moins

From a performance standpoint, TBS has low volume shrinkage on polymerization, a high affinity for oils, high solvent receptivity and improved water resistance of copolymers. From an environmental standpoint, TBS has a low vapor pressure and high flash point which reduces emissions from storage or handling and reduces the flammability hazard. Applications include use in coatings, adhesives, films, insulating varnishes, unsaturated polyesters, and ion exchange resins. voir moins
ALKOPON® NS Indorama Ventures ALKOPON® NS consists of anionic surfactants derived from the reaction of fatty alcohols or ethoxylated fatty alcohols with SO3, followed by neutralization with alkali. It is a completely biodegradable sodium lauryl ether sulfate (30%). ALKOPON® NS is the main surfactant used as a detergent and foaming agent in toothpaste formulas. Due to its higher Krafft point compared to ether sulfates, it is an excellent choice for pearled formulations and cream cleansers. This product can be used in shampoos, liquid soaps, bubble baths, toothpastes, hand dishwashing detergents, fine fabric wash, liquid laundry detergents and household hard surface cleaners such as glass cleaners and bathroom cleaners.
