18-ß-Glycyrrhetinic Acid is obtained by hydrolysis of Glycyrrhicinate from the roots of Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). The most important active ingredients of Liquorice are Saponins of triterpens, which are present by 5 – 15 % percent. It is a white powder for personal care and cosmetic formulations.
