ULTRANEX® NP 120 is a non-ionic surfactant, whose hydrophobic portion comes from nonylphenol and the hydrophilic portion, from the ethylene oxide chain. It is a clear to turbid liquid, with a hydroxyl number of 73-80mg KOH/g, a cloud point of 79-85°C, a pH level of 5.0-7.5, and an estimated HLB of 14.1.
By increasing the degree of ethoxylation, the hydrophilic character of the molecule is increased (higher HLB), which alters its water solubility, foaming power, wettability and detergency, allowing the formulator to use these products as emulsifiers, detergents, solubilizers, humectants and degreasers in various application.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
