ULTRASOLVE® P 240 A is a mixture of glycol ethers made up of monoethylene glycol phenyl ether (75% in weight) and of diethylene glycol phenyl ether (25% in weight). This product has a boiling point @ 760 mm Hg of 246ºC, a freezing point of 10.6ºC, and a density, 25/25ºC of 1.09-1.13. It is a clear liquid, with little odor, stable in the presence of acids and alkalis, partially soluble in water and compatible with organic and inorganic compounds. This product has low evaporation rate, low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and high solvency power to dissolve polymers and pigments. Due to its characteristics of evaporation and solubility, it is used as coalescence agent for architectural paints, water-based adhesives and industrial latex. voir moins
