2-Component Wash Primer With Improved Adhesion (Formulation #4.1.2) is a guideline formulation offered to illustrate the key features of SHIELDEX® AC 3 Anti-Corrosive Pigment. Beckopox EM 460 together with Phenodur PR 263 is recommended in combination with the standard resin Mowital B 30 H to ensure good wet adhesion properties. Silquest A 187 Silane promotes wet adhesion properties especially on galvanised steel and aluminium substrates. The combination of Alcophor 827 with SHIELDEX® anti-corrosive pigments improves hot salt spray resistance over steel substrates.
After mixing the two components and letting these prereact for a minimum of 30 minutes, the formulation was tested on solvent degreased cold rolled steel, galvanised steel and aluminium substrates applied to a dry film thickness of 10 –15 μm by bar coater. The formulation was also tested with a 40 micron acrylic/isocyanate top coat. Drying was for 7 days at ambient conditions.

Lists combine the ease of Bookmarks with the versatility of Tags. Instead of one collection of bookmarked items, create as many collections, called "Lists," as you need.
Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
