Calfax® 10L-45 is a light amber, water soluble surface active agent that contains no halogenated solvents. It is an aqueous surfactant solution that is compatible with a broad range of high electrolyte solutions such as brine, bleach, caustic and inorganic acids. The high surface activity and the high electrolyte tolerance of Calfax® 10L-45 make it the surfactant of choice for the manufacture of latex emulsions for adhesives and foam rubber. These properties allow the user to operate the emulsification system under conditions that would not be usable with conventional surface active agents, permitting greater control over latex molecular weight and particle size. voir moins

Calfax® 16L-35 is an aqueous solution of sodium hexadecyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate, which has a clear light amber appearance and contains no halogenated solvents. Calfax® 16L-35 offers superior solubility and stability in electrolyte solutions such as brine, bleach, caustic and inorganic acids. The long, linear side chain promotes lower critical micelle concentration (CMC), higher surface tension and lower foam stability than the other Calfax® products. Calfax® 16L-35 offers substantially less foam than shorter chain disulfonates. It is an efficient emulsifier for ABS resins and styrene-butadiene latex, among others. voir moins

Masurf® UV-350 is an Ultraviolet Light Absorber for non-polar, hydrocarbon solvent systems, designed to impart UV protection to fabrics and hard surfaces. Utilizing proven and accepted benzotriazole UV absorber chemistry, this product is easy to use and highly efficient, because it is applied from a solution. Masurf® UV-350 is readily dissolvable in hydrocarbon solvents which provides a uniform coverage compared to other UV absorbers that form unstable, large particle size dispersions and yield non-uniform surface coverage. Unlike aqueous based UV absorbers, this product is not water soluble, so it will not readily wash off exterior surfaces. voir moins
