Pilot® SXS-40 is a clear, water white solution sodium xylene sulfonate. It is an effective coupling agent, hydrotrope, solubilizer, and solvent. It is used to solubilize organic surface active agents in liquid cleaners, organic polymers and dyestuffs, and to stabilize solutions of alkanolamides. This product is also used in the extraction of phenolic acids from coal tar and naphthenic acids from petroleum oils. It is also used in the extraction of lignin and pentosans in pulping. 表示を減らす
