A growing demand for waterborne coatings in the wood industry has created new opportunities as well as new challenges. Formulators need to deliver coatings that are cost-competitive and meet performance expectations, including ease of application, appearance and durability.
Building on the legacy of innovative polymers we supply for wood coatings in Europe, EPS is launching the EPS® 2400 series in North America. The EPS 2400 series is a new line of waterborne acrylic resins that wood coating formulators can use to develop high-performance solutions for industrial applications, such as cabinetry, furniture and flooring.
Wood coatings formulated with EPS polymers offer increased durability and beautiful, high-performance finishes, as well as excellent mechanical and chemical resistance, good hardness/flexibility ratio, exceptional leveling, and faster dry times. This balance of properties streamlines production and reduces manufacturing times.
This webinar will cover an overview of EPS resins that can be formulated into high-performance wood coatings.
